The CSA certification process is very flexible, and the method steps are different according to different products.

1. According to the specifications and models. If each specification is certified, it is expensive and time-consuming. Therefore, one or two representative products can be selected for certification for the same purpose and various specifications. For example, 1-100 kW motors can do this.

2. According to the special requirements of users, do certification for a certain product. Such as: industrial switch, according to the user's opinion, the product produced by the manufacturer is different from the original designed product, and can be certified according to the user's requirements.

3. Certification of large equipment. Such as large equipment is produced by several enterprises, can be assembled together and certified at the assembly site.

4. Conduct field tests according to human brain and physical strength. Such as medicine packaging caps that cannot be opened by children.

The CSA generally adopts a four-step approach to certification:

1. Pre-certification analysis. After the applicant submits the application, it is necessary to analyze whether the information about the product provided by the applicant is complete and whether the sample conforms to the regulations.

2. Pre-test analysis. The certification worker determines the test items and draws up the test procedure.

3. Test according to the program and project.

4. Analysis after laboratory test. The certification engineer will meet the applicant after analyzing the test results. If the test results meet the requirements, the certification work will come to an end, and the applicant can be issued a certification certificate.
